Painter Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces and apply coatings to various structures, components, and miscellaneous surfaces according to customers specifications.
- Assemble, maintain, repair and clean painting equipment.
- Apply tape or other covering to protect from overspray.
- Keep the paint room and paint booth clean and clear of trash and debris.
- Perform onsite Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) functions, including required paperwork.
- Know how to mix and thin paint per customer requirements.
- Must observe and comply with all safety rules and protocols.
- 1 years’ experience as a Manufacturing Painter.
- Excellent knowledge of the properties of paint, solvent, and other industry chemicals.
- Good ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
- Must be proficient in spraying to maintain even professional results.
- Must have knowledge of Hazardous waste management.
- Must be proficient in the safety requirements of the position.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of vocational training or an apprenticeship will be a bonus.
- Handling heavy loads
- Physically demanding
- Bending, crouching, kneeling, etc.
- Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm
